The Municipality of Tulum is one of the ten municipalities of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, it is located in the north-central area of ​​the state, in the so-called Riviera Maya, its capital is the city of Tulum and its territory was segregated from the Municipality of Solidaridad, which is why some tourist places are a reference to Playa del Carmen belonging to the municipality of Solidaridad, it has important archaeological sites such as Cobá and Tulum, beautiful beaches and places to practice ecotourism.
