The Church of Alseseca was oriented from east to west so that when celebrating mass, it would face Rome according to the regulations of the time. The side walls are covered by carved wooden altarpieces, with oil paintings that are neither signed nor dated. It has five altarpieces, three of wood and two of mortar: the one dedicated to the Holy Souls of Purgatory or the Souls, the one to the Patron Saint Santiago, the Main Altar, the one to the Passion and the one to Saint Peter.

Municipality
