The Parish of San Miguel remains open all year round to welcome the faithful who come with devotion and whose patronal feast is celebrated on September 29.
Tehuitzingo, its name means Place of sharp stones, is a municipality and city in the state of Puebla (central-eastern Mexico), its main architectural construction is the parish church dedicated to the custody of San Miguel Arcángel, dating from the 16th century, which remains open throughout the year for the reception of the faithful who come with devotion, of which on September 29 they celebrate the patron saint's day with processions, fireworks, jaripeo, music bands and popular dance.

On November 1st and 2nd, All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day are celebrated with offerings and visits to the cemetery, where they light thousands of candles on the graves. They celebrate Holy Week with respect.
