The Tejalpa Church is a colonial-style religious building located in the town of Tejalpa, a few kilometers from the municipal seat of Tehuitzingo.
Tehuitzingo, its name means Place of sharp stones, is a municipality and city in the state of Puebla (central-eastern Mexico), its main architectural construction is the parish church dedicated to the custody of San Miguel Arcángel, dating from the 16th century, which remains open throughout the year for the reception of the faithful who come with devotion, of which on September 29 they celebrate the patron saint's day with processions, fireworks, jaripeo, music bands and popular dance.
