The Tepeaca Historical Museum is located in the House of Culture or House of the Diezmo, which was an important centre of power during the time of the conquest, since it was from here that taxes were collected. The building has Romanesque characteristics, although it was built in the 17th century. It is organised around a large central courtyard. The Museum has an archaeological and palaeontological collection.
