The Carros or Cayehuacan Dam, located between the states of Puebla and Morelos, is located in the town of Ixtatlala in the municipality of Tepexco.

Municipality

Tepexco is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "In front of the hill", its main architectural construction is the parish church dedicated to the Virgin of Ocotlán, built by the Dominican friars in the 16th century, which is open 365 days a year and is located in the capital and from which the Patron Saint Festival of May 18 starts, in honor of the Virgin of Ocotlán, celebrating masses, prayers, processions, fireworks, popular dance, jaripeo and dances of “ Huehues” and “Twelve pairs of France”.
