It takes place in the open-air auditorium Netotiloaya (Plazuela de la Danza). In 1996, “Atlixcáyotl” was named Cultural Heritage of the State of Puebla. The last Sunday of May, San Félix, the town’s patron saint, is celebrated; on September 8, the Nativity of the Virgin (known as the Divine Infantita) is celebrated; on August 28, San Agustín; On November 22, Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians, and from October 15 to 30 the regional fair is held.
