Municipality

Tlacuilotepec is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the state of Puebla, it is located in the northern mountains of Puebla, its name means, "On the written or painted hill", it has architectural constructions such as a parish temple dedicated to Christ the King, built in the 17th century located in the Municipal Headquarters, on August 24th they celebrate the patronal festival of Christ the King, the festival of San Bartolome the Apostle, they celebrate it with masses, prayers, processions, horse races, burning of fireworks and jaripeos, the main tourist spot of the region is the Cerro de Piedras with Totonac paintings in the municipal seat.
