Municipality

Tlaola is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the state of Puebla, it is located in the northern mountains of the state. Its name means "Among the shelled and dried corn" or "Corn that springs from the water. Its main architectural construction is a parish church dedicated to to San Pedro, built in the 16th century, from which the festivity of August 13 to 15 in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption begins, it is celebrated with masses, prayers, processions, popular dances, music bands, fireworks, jaripeo and dances of "Quetzalines", "Voladores", "Tejedores" and "Huehues".
