Located 30 minutes from the center of Oyameles, a rock formation that, due to its historical and geological background, is believed to have once been a volcano. It is also said that this cave runs through the same hill that was used as a tunnel by miners traveling from the city of Teziutlán, Puebla, to Mexico City, carrying large loads of gold in stagecoaches. The cave provided them with the perfect hiding place to avoid robberies.
