The parish church dedicated to Saint Augustine is a religious building dating back to the 19th century and is located in the municipal capital, from which the main festival takes place on August 28.

Tlaxco is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its Nahua name meaning "On the face of the Earth" or "On the surface of the Ground", it has important Historical monuments, such as the Parish Temple dedicated to San Agustín, dating from the 19th century and from which the celebration of August 28 is the party dedicated to Saint Augustine, it is celebrated with dances, horse races, cockfights, fireworks, processions and popular dances and Holy Week is commemorated, for eco tourism there is a water hole for swimming which is 20 minutes away from the municipal seat, and in the town of Cuaxtla there are unexplored caverns and caves at an approximate distance of 20 km.
