The Temple dedicated to Our Lord of Calvary, whose beautiful image of Christ on the Cross is one of the largest in the Mexican Republic. On July 25 a festival is celebrated in honor of Saint James the Apostle in the town of Tochimizolco; On October 18, in the town of Tulcingo, Saint Luke the Evangelist is celebrated; on November 11, in Zacatempan, Saint Martin the Knight is celebrated; and in Tepanapa, a festival with morning songs, Moorish dances, and fireworks is held in honor of its patron saint, Saint Catherine, on November 25.
