The Los Berros River runs through the municipality of Yaonáhuac, a few minutes from the headwaters. Its natural beauty can be seen and it is suitable for ecotourism such as whitewater rafting.
Yaonáhuac is one of the 217 municipalities of the Mexican state of Puebla, its name means "Next to the Great Waterway", it has beautiful historical places such as the parish temple in honor of Santiago Apóstol, it is located in the municipal capital built in the 16th century, and from which the festival in honor of Santiago Apóstol starts on July 25, it is celebrated with masses, prayers, processions, popular dance, mechanical games, fireworks, rodeos, music bands and dances, in addition to having eco-tourist options such as the La Soledad Dam, the Los Berros River and the Canastilla River.
