The floral clock is the main emblem that adorns the heart of Zacatlán. It was built by Zacatlecan hands and has two 5-meter diameter dials beautifully adorned with natural flowers. The clock is installed in the Civic Plaza of the city and has become one of the main tourist attractions of Zacatlán.

Municipality

Zacatlán is a municipality located in the north of the Mexican state of Puebla. Its name means Place where grass abounds, it has beautiful architectural sites such as the Church and former convent from the 16th century, the Municipal Presidency, the statue of Lic. Benito Juárez, the Monumental Clock outdoors, as well as the House of Culture and the Alberto Olvera Hernández Museum, the Apple Fair takes place from August 13 to 21, it has tourist options such as the San Pedro waterfall located in Atmatla, where you can swim and enjoy the panoramic views and the Valley of Piedras Encimadas found in San Miguel Tenango, a 45-minute drive from the town center.

Festivities

From August 13 to 21, the Apple Fair takes place, the Queen is crowned, there are exhibitions of clocks for buildings, coffee and nixtamal mills, bicycle accessories, whose pioneering manufacturers were Don Alberto Olvera Hernández and Don Gabriel Trejo, exhibitions of mimeographs, a multitude of apple stands, wine stands, and various brands of cider.
