The Valley of the Piedras Encimadas is dotted with rocks that form figures 10 to 20 metres high and that seem to be in a strange balance. It is believed that these shapes were caused by the erosion of the limestone, a result of rain and wind. The route through the valley advances between these curious rock formations scattered among the vegetation. The valley can be visited on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. At the end of the route it is recommended to visit the waterfall.
