715 / 5.000 Zihuateutla is one of the 217 municipalities of the Mexican state of Puebla, located in the northern part of the state, its name means "Land or place of the goddess Cihuateotl", it has beautiful historical buildings such as the parish church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, 20th century; dating from the 16th century, the ruins of a church and the archaeological sites of Acatlán, Tecuantla and Tenquito de Tecorral, its main celebration is the day of Corpus Christi or the Patron Saint San Manuelito, which varies, in the months of May and June, is performed with dances, "Charros", "Quetzales", "El Colorado", "Negritos", "Tejoneros", "San Miguelito", "Santiagueros", masses, pilgrimages and fireworks.
