A particularly interesting complex, as it is made up of two buildings: the main one is the Parish of Our Lady of Bethlehem, which began to be built in 1712 and was open to worship since 1716, but it was not until 1938 that it was finished as we see it today. It consists of 3 naves: the main one, long and wide, and the smaller and narrower lateral ones in the shape of a Latin cross.
The Municipality of Asientos is one of the 10 municipalities into which the state of Aguascalientes is divided. Its name comes from Our Lady of Belén de los Asientos de Ibarra, hence its current name.
