Within the municipality of Atzitzintla, there are still haciendas that were once full of pre-Revolutionary life and can still be visited for the delight of lovers of historic buildings.
Atzitzintla is one of the 217 municipalities of the Mexican state of Puebla. It is located in the east of the entity, in this municipality the Large Millimeter Telescope is built, built jointly by the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) and the University of Massachusetts, without taking into account the traditional constructions such as the parish of San Antonio, which dates back to the 16th century; the chapel of the Gentiles from 1700.
