The Nuestra Señora de la Luz Parish is a small church located in front of the large house in neoclassical style, and inside are buried, in white granite tombs, the remains of Rodrigo Rincón Gallardo, landowner and former governor of Aguascalientes, along with his wife and children, this temple houses the patron saint of the place, the Virgen de la Luz, which dates back to 1921, and is located on Calle 20 de Noviembre S/N.

Municipality

El Llano is one of the most recently created municipalities in the state of Aguascalientes. The origin of the name El Llano is due to its structure and geographical characteristics that resemble a valley or plain. It has beautiful historical buildings such as the Nuestra Señora de Parish. The neoclassical style La Luz dates back to 1921, the former hacienda like Los Fortines dates back to July 1873, the former hacienda of Trojes and Los Establos, Cerro El Grande is a beautiful natural attraction that can be visited by all those who like the adventure, where there are two waterholes and the Pirul Cave.
