Axutla is one of the 217 municipalities of the Mexican state of Puebla, it has various traditional buildings such as the Parish Church dating from the 16th century, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the protection of San Miguel Arcángel, they also have celebrations such as the 8th of January, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and on September 29 to San Miguel Arcángel, both are characterized by being celebrated with processions, dances and a fair.
Two festivals are celebrated: on January 8, in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and on September 29, in honor of Saint Michael the Archangel, both of which are characterized by being celebrated with processions, dances and fairs. Holy Week is celebrated with solemnity; offerings are erected on November 1 and 2 in commemoration of All Saints' Day.
