Pabellón de Arteaga is one of the 11 municipalities into which the state of Aguascalientes is divided, it had its origin in the establishment of a colony of construction workers of the Calles Dam, it has beautiful architectural places such as the main square, the parish temple of Guadalupe with modernist architecture whose construction dates back to 1946 and where it is interesting to appreciate the painting of the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe painted by José de Alcívar, there is a sports museum in the municipality, the day of the anniversary of the Mexican Revolution is the fair of greatest regional importance for its traditionalism and folklore, on May 14 the anniversary of the founding of Pabellón de Arteaga is celebrated
