Hacienda de la Guayana was originally a cattle ranch, but, like the agricultural ones, it was affected during the Revolution. Today it is located on the common land of the same name, whose lands were given to them in 1935 in 25 parcels, absorbing an area of 648 hectares, 190 for rainfed land, 200 for irrigation and the remaining 258 for grazing land.
San Francisco de los Romo is one of the most recently created municipalities in the state of Aguascalientes, it has been named San Francisco de los Romo since 1879, in honor of the buyers of the land, it has beautiful buildings, stories such as the former haciendas of San Ángel (1857), Loretito (1857), El Mezquite (1760), La Guayana and Puertecito de la Virgen. In San Francisco there is the Toy Museum, its regional fair is in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi which you can attend in the months of September and October.
