Municipality

Camocuautla is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the Mexican state of Puebla. Its name is interpreted as Monte de Camotes. The most important construction is the parish temple in worship of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, built in the 17th century and of which part the patron saint's day of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, that of the Virgin of Guadalupe on December 12 and Christmas Day, December 25, they celebrate them with masses, prayers, processions, fireworks, music bands and dances of " quetzalines", "flyers", "weavers" and huehues".
