Cañada Morelos is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name comes from: tepectlan, a Nahuatl name from the radicals "tepetl", hill, stone; "tlan", a place, which means "place of stones or scree", has historical architectural monuments such as the parish temple dedicated to San José from the 16th century, the May 5, 1990 portal and the monument to Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla The main festival is March 19, the patron saint of San José. The Texoyuca hill is a tourist attraction, there is volcanic stone and Aztec vestiges of Polish descent. It is located 15 minutes from the capital.
