The Municipality of Chalchicomula de Sesma, which means in the hollow or well of the Chalchihuites, is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the Mexican state of Puebla. A tradition that is carried out is to choose the queen who will be crowned in an artistic evening by the Governor of the State; Holy Week; May 5 is the battle of Puebla, September 15 and 16 are national holidays; November 20 is the anniversary of the Revolution where parades organized by educational institutions and the City Council are held, Christmas and New Year.
