Cuaxomulco is one of the municipalities of the state of Tlaxcala in Mexico, its name comes from the word Cuahxomulco which means "In the Corner of the Trees", it has various historical buildings such as the Temple of San Antonio Abad was built in the 18th century mainly of stone, the Hacienda San Miguel Buenavista was built in the 19th century, the municipality of Cuaxomulco is located on the tourist route "Textiles and the Center".
The religious celebration is in honor of the town's patron saint, San Antonio de Padua, and is celebrated from January 13 to 17, with the latter being the main day. The celebration begins with the traditional "mañanitas" at 5 a.m. Afterwards, a mass is celebrated and then a procession takes place through the main streets. At night at 10:00 p.m., fireworks are set off at the side of the temple, thus ending the celebration.
