La Magdalena Tlaltelulco is one of the 60 municipalities of Tlaxcala, its name comes from the word tlaltelolco, which can be translated as "Place of clods" or "In the piles of earth", it has a beautiful religious building such as the Santa Magdalena Parish Temple, its architectural plan is in the shape of a Latin cross. Dating back to the 18th century, the patron saint festivities begin on the 22nd main day or the following or previous Sunday depending on the day of the week on which the main day falls.
