On September 13, 2010, the monument in honor of General Mariano Arista was inaugurated, bearing the name of our Municipality, with Prof. Leopoldo Toache García as municipal president. It is located on the detour of the highway to Mazapa and Fco. I. Madero, and is made up of a statue of General Mariano Arista carved in stone with a height of two meters.

During the fair days, various exhibitions are held in front of the town hall. In the main square, an exhibition is held on the culture of pulque and its derivatives. This is set up by the main producers of the region, who also give away some of their products to visitors, as well as natural or cured pulque from the industries established in the municipality.
