Municipality

San Jerónimo Zacualpan is a municipality in the state of Tlaxcala. Its name, Zacualpan, translates as "on the mound or on the shrine." It has beautiful buildings such as the Temple of San Jerónimo. The construction of the temple dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries, from which the main festival takes place on September 30 in honor of the patron saint "Jerónimo" known as the doctor of the church.
