Municipality

San José Teacalco is a municipality in the state of Tlaxcala, its name means, in turn, "the one who embarks people or who passes them from one side of the river to the other", it has beautiful religious buildings such as the San José Temple dating from the 19th century and Hacienda Totolquexco was built in the 19th century, on March 19th San José is celebrated and celebrated with religious acts, fireworks, mechanical games, cockfights, horse races and the classic popular dance.
