Inside the Santa Ana Nopalucan Parish there are two towers of the same size with three bodies, the first two are very similar and both have semicircular arches and are topped with a dome with a drum, in the corners a battlement topped with a wrought iron cross on both.

Municipality

Santa Ana Nopalucan is a municipality in the state of Tlaxcala, its name means land of the prickly pear, its main religious building is the Santa Ana Temple, the construction period was during the 19th century and from which the celebration in honor of the patron saint Mrs. Santa Ana begins, the day of the celebration is July 26, but if the day falls on a weekday it is transferred to the following Sunday, in the municipality of Santa Ana Nopalucan, mats are made with the tule (a type of reed) that grows wild there, which is why they have become the main suppliers of those "beds".

Festivities

During the carnival, two or three groups participate, dancing on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of carnival. They start dancing in the captains' houses and then continue dancing through the streets of the town. On Tuesday afternoon - at 6 pm - they perform the Carnival Remate in front of the auditorium. The music that accompanies their dance is not restricted to a single musical genre and its origin is diverse, they regularly resort to the "greatest hits of the moment", songs or melodies that are popular on radio and television stations. At the same time, they are themes that find acceptance in the dances of local fairs.
