Santa Apolonia Teacalco is one of the municipalities of the state of Tlaxcala, its name translates as "in the stone canoe", it has beautiful architectural constructions such as the Temple of Santa Apolonia, its architectural plan is in the shape of a semicircular Latin cross, the El Calvario Chapel, the temple has its architectural plan in the shape of a Latin cross, the Ex-hacienda San Juan Mixco, the construction period dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries, the Ex-chapel San Juan, the building was built between the 18th and 19th centuries. The celebrations are in honor of Saint Apolonia Virgin, the main day is February 9.
