Santa Cruz Quilehtla is one of the 60 municipalities of the state of Tlaxcala, its name comes from the Nahuatl word Quilihtla which translates as "place where quelites abound", it has beautiful religious buildings such as the Chapel Corazón de Jesús, the time of its construction dates back to the 19th century and the Chapel of Señor Santiago, the Lord Jesus Christ who represents the Holy Cross is the patron saint of this community, it is precisely on May 3, the day of the Holy Cross, when construction workers are also celebrated.
