Municipality

Chigmecatitlán is one of the 217 municipalities of the state of Puebla (Mexico), it is located in the south center of the territory, it has important architectural spaces such as the parish temple dedicated to San Antonio built in the 16th century from which the festival of the 13th starts. on June, the patron saint's day of San Antonio and on December 8, the festival of La Purísima Concepción, which is celebrated with mass, prayers and fireworks. There is also a museum of miniature palm crafts in the municipal seat.
