Municipality

Tocatlán is a municipality in the state of Tlaxcala, its name translates as "Place of spiders", it has beautiful architectural constructions such as the Temple of Santa María, the construction dates back to the 18th century, the Hacienda Acocotla was built during the 18th and 19th centuries, on August 13th the festival is held in honor of the Virgin of the Assumption, which begins on August 12th with the traditional rose race, with celebrations of religious and secular acts.
