Amacuzac is a municipality in the state of Morelos, its name comes from the Nahuatl Amaticoztitlán, which means "place where yellow amate trees abound", it has beautiful buildings such as the San Gabriel Las Palmas Church, the Hacienda de San Gabriel Las Palmas, the Church of Huajintlán, the Sugar Mill Building, the Centinela Building, the zoo called "Zoofari", as well as the Amacuzac River as an eco-tourism option, popular festivals are held in various communities, such as in San Gabriel Las Palmas, on 24 to March 30 in honor of San Gabriel
