The Aqueduct, which carried water from the river to move the water wheel of the Buenavista Sugar Hacienda, located southwest of Cuautla. Its approximate population was about 240 families, perhaps only about 1,500 inhabitants, and it was surrounded by large extensions of its magnificent lands cultivated with sugar cane.
