Cohuecán is one of the 217 municipalities that make up the Mexican state of Puebla, its name is interpreted as In a difficult or dangerous place and it is located in the central west of the state, between the municipal parish Temple in honor of San Bartolomé built in the 16th century and that manifests a type of architecture typical of the time; There is also the Temple of Jesús Nazareno; Both are open to the faithful every day of the year.
