The Sima de las Cotorras is located in the municipality of Ocozocoautla, very close to Tuxtla Gutiérrez. It allows us to see caves that open their mouths and reveal a small jungle inside where countless parrots nest and where cave paintings depicting warriors, animals and hands can be seen. This place is ideal for hiking, caving, rock climbing, rappelling and observing flora and fauna. It is a sinkhole of the earth with an approximate depth of 140 m. and a diameter of 160 m. in which countless parrots live, descending about 20 m.
