The El Chiflón Waterfalls are one of the most impressive waterfalls in Chiapas due to their height, with a staggered fall of around 120 meters. The San Vicente River, one of the most powerful rivers in Chiapas, gives rise to a series of waterfalls called El Suspiro, Ala de Ángel and Velo de Novia, the latter being the most impressive due to its 70 meter high drop. These form natural pools of intense turquoise blue water, framed by vast vegetation that forms a tree curtain and landscapes that stand out for their sugar cane and palm groves.
