The Rejoya Recreation Center is on the banks of Tzimol, 13 kilometers from Comitán, where the San Vicente River forms natural pools, bordered by magnificent specimens of sabinos or ahuehuetes. This natural spa offers its visitors some services to make their stay more pleasant, such as public bathrooms, parking, palapas, a family recreation area and a quiet area for swimming.
Tzimol is a municipality located in the state of Chiapas, its name means Old Dog, from the chaneabal tzi, dog (certain people) and mol, old. The main tourist attractions are the Rejoya Recreation Center, where you can find a group of palapas for picnics, and the San Vicente or El Chiflón Waterfalls on the Tzimol-Pujiltic highway.
In Tzimol the most important celebrations are those of the Holy Cross, Santo Domingo and the Nativity.
