The Agua Azul Waterfalls in Chilón are shared with the municipality of Tumbalá in the state of Chiapas. The Agua Azul River descends its limestone bed in steps, forming a series of impressive waterfalls that create natural pools contained by limestone dams, the so-called gours in geological terminology.
