The Chiapas Museum of Science and Technology in Tuxtla Gutiérrez was created with the purpose of making children and adults aware of the technological functioning of the most modern scientific advances through interactive, educational and recreational spaces. It consists of a room dedicated to temporary exhibitions, a space called Recreational Science equipped with a playroom and a computer room.

In Tuxtla Gutiérrez the most important celebrations are those of San Marcos, San Roque, San Jacinto, San Pascualito, San Francisco, Santo Domingo and the Virgin of Guadalupe.
