The Plazoleta Miguel Hidalgo in Aculco is the place that the people chose to worship Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, with a small bust surrounded by leafy jacarandas that, together with the architecture of the area, offer an extraordinary panorama of the beauty of Aculco.
Aculco is one of the municipalities of the Mexican state of State of Mexico, was formed by the Otomi and later conquered by the Mexicas in the 14th century, its current name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "place where the water twists", it retains the features of its traditional architecture full of alleys and houses with large patios.
