The Parish of the Immaculate Conception in Los Alamos was built between 1757-1804, seat of the first Sonoran bishopric, this replaced the mission of the Jesuits destroyed by a revolt in 1772, offers an elegant architecture made up of three main naves, its facade is baroque style and preserves some fine furniture made of wood, the three bells of the church tower, rang in the Colony with the boom of mining, in independence in 1827 when Alamos was the capital of the State of the West that united Sonora with Sinaloa and Baja California.
