The Zócalo of Honey, the municipal capital, concentrates the main buildings of the town in the center, a kiosk characteristic of the region.

Municipality

Honey is one of the 217 municipalities of the state of Puebla (central-eastern Mexico), its main architectural construction is the Parish Temple, erected to the Holy Cross, under the protection of San José, from the 16th century, as well as the House of the Culture that serves as a museum of the region, on March 19, the festival in honor of San José is celebrated with masses, prayers, processions and dances, such as "Quetzalines" "Voladores" "Tejedores" and "Huehues", there is a forest in the town of La Trinidad for picnics and camping and the waterfall called Salto de la Cumbre (La Cumbre del Manzano)

Festivities

On March 19th, there is a feast in honor of Saint Joseph; September 10th, in honor of Saint Nicholas Tolentino; and from May 3rd to 5th, the feast of the Holy Cross; with masses, prayers, processions and dances, such as "Quetzalines" "Voladores" "Tejedores" and "Huehues". The Day of the Dead is commemorated on November 1st and 2nd; Holy Week and the posadas and December 12th in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
