Municipality

The municipality of Huehuetla (State of Puebla) is located in the Sierra Norte of Puebla, it is a municipality with 89 percent of the Totonac-speaking indigenous population, it has several Architectural monuments, one of them is the Parish Temple of San Salvador, which It was built in the 16th century, it also has the Church of Calvario and the "Temple of the Child of Candelaria" of colonial type, from which the patron saint festivities begin. August 6 is the patron saint feast of San Salvador and we will point out that of the December 12, when the "Coffee Fair" is celebrated and eco-tourist attractions such as the unexplored caves, which are located about 4 kilometers from the municipal seat.
