The Sunday before the Tepalcingo Fair, Morelos, Huehuetlán El Chico, Puebla dresses up for the “Jícaras Fair”, held every Second Friday of Lent. Huehuetlán el Chico, its name means Place of ahuehuetes, is one of the 217 municipalities of the state of Puebla (central-eastern Mexico), it has several cultural monuments such as the temple of San Nicolás, dating from the 16th century, the monument to Emiliano Zapata, the monument to Miguel Hidalgo that is located in the municipal square, the main festival is celebrated on the third Sunday of October with jaripeos, bulls, masses and fireworks.
