Huehuetlán el Grande is a municipality in the state of Puebla, its name means "near the God of fire" or "Old place, ancient town", it has various architectural monuments such as the Parish Temple dedicated to Santo Domingo de Guzmán, the Temple of the Santo Niño, La Candelaria, from the 19th century and the Temple of the Assumption from the 16th century, on February 2, the patron saint's day of the Child God; August 4, patron saint's day of Santo Domingo de Guzmán; They celebrate it with masses, prayers, processions, fireworks, music bands, currently they have the “Atotonilcos”, a hot springs resort; It belongs to the municipal seat of Huehuetlán el Grande.
