Hueytamalco is a municipality in the state of Puebla. Its name means "Big Downs, Big Ups" or "Very Inclined Slopes", its most important architectural construction is the Parish Temple of the Patron Saint Santiago Apóstol, which was built in the 16th century. which originates the festivity of July 25, is the patron saint's day in honor of Santiago Apóstol, with masses, prayers, processions, fireworks and dances such as "Moros", "Cristianos" and "Negritos", as an eco-tourist attraction it has the waterfalls on the San Pedro, Mezolapa and Zoyoquila rivers; unexplored caves in San Carlos and Posas.
